To heal, you need to be heard.
If you’ve experienced sexual assault, recently or in the past, you don’t have to go through it alone. Free, confidential counselling is available right here on campus through The Centre Against Sexual Assault – Central Victoria (CASACV).
This service provides trauma-informed counselling, advocacy and support for La Trobe students.
What can I expect from counselling?
- Free and confidential support from trained specialists
- A safe, non-judgmental space where you set the pace
- No pressure to share explicit details, instead focusing on managing the challenges that can arise after trauma
- Sessions available on Bendigo campus or via telehealth
How do I access this service?

You can access this service either by contacting CASACV directly (mention you’re a La Trobe student) or by contacting the La Trobe counselling service.
