The Midsumma Pride March is returning to Fitzroy St, St Kilda on Sunday 1 February 2026 to celebrate and show support for LGBTIQA+ communities. A group of La Trobe staff members are planning to march and would love to invite students to express their interest in joining them to march together as one La Trobe team!
Who can join?
All current La Trobe students are welcome – whether you identify as LGBTIQA+ or an ally. If you’re keen to march with us, register by Wednesday 28 January using our form and we’ll send you more details.

What to expect
Midsumma Pride March is one of the biggest events in the Midsumma Festival calendar, inviting LGBTIQA+ people and allies to show their support for queer communities.
More than 10,000 marchers strut down Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, cheered on by more than 45,000 people lining paths and balconies to cheer them on.
