  • Choose the course you'd like to apply for.

  • Create an account or sign in to your existing account.

  • Complete your application for your chosen course. This should take about 15 minutes if you've already collected all your information and documents.

    You'll need to provide information like personal details, education and work experience. Depending on your course requirements, you may need to provide supporting documents (see the FAQs below).

Frequently asked questions

You can apply direct if you're a domestic applicant, not currently in high school, and applying for one of the following:

  • a Bachelor's degree
  • any postgraduate coursework degree
  • an Honours year
  • a transfer between La Trobe courses.

You can also apply direct if you're living overseas and applying for online study.

You'll need to provide supporting documents for some course applications. The specific documents you'll need to provide will be listed in your course's application form.

Documents can be uploaded in PDF or JPEG format. The maximum single upload is 5MB.

Academic documents

If you need to provide academic documents, please provide clear and legible copies of any official transcripts and/or completion certificates.  Colour scans are recommended. Please note that results from the web are not considered official transcripts.

Supplementary form

If you need to complete a supplementary application form, please upload it under this category (together with all specific documentation that is not submitted under other categories).

Resume

If required, you can provide a personal resume, curriculum vitae or record of relevant work and/or volunteer experience.

English test results

This includes IELTS, TOEFL and PTE Academic test results.

Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) documentation

SEAS categories 3 and 4 require statements of support must address the requirements of each category.

Other documents

These could include:

  • written references
  • evidence of changing your name
  • working with children checks
  • police checks
  • professional registrations
  • non-academic awards.
