Subject outline

In this subject, you will apply and expand on prior learning in sport analytics, computer and data science by working on an industry-relevant sport analytics project. This subject will prepare you for planning and developing substantial research and workplace projects. A range of interesting and diverse projects will be made available or you may propose your own. This project is part of two subjects (SPE5SPA and SPE5SPB) and is taken under the supervision of an experienced academic member/s of staff. You can choose a research pathway and submit the project as a written thesis or complete an applied project with submitted work aligned with workplace practices and documentation. In SPE5SPA you will write and present a literature review and project plan, along with preliminary data analysis.
