Subject outline

In this subject you will strategically plan the next five years of your physiotherapy career. You will reflect on your career options and preferences, and your personal and professional attributes to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to your planned career direction. Core learning activities will explore leadership styles, strategic professional development, mentoring, and goal setting to facilitate the preparation of a personal career development plan.You will then commence  your career development plan by identifying and completing 10 hours of relevant professional development activities.

"Students will access a range of (asynchronous) online and multimedia resources to support their learning throughout the teaching period. This will be equivalent to 14 hours of face-to-face activity per semester."

Five 2.0 hours problem based learning other recurrence on weekdays during the day from week 30 to week 44 and delivered via online.
"Students will work through 5 x 2-hour problem based learning activities (online, asynchronous) during the study period ."

Two 1.0 hours supervisor consultation other recurrence on weekdays during the day from week 30 to week 44 and delivered via online.
"Students will attend 2 x 1-hour synchronous online drop-in sessions (including preparation time) one-on-one with a tutor or mentor."
