In this subject students develop knowledge, understanding and experience of flat water river environments in order to safely conduct outdoor environmental education experiences. Through class activities and 9 days of field trips, students will apply and extend technical paddling skills, and examine pedagogy, environmental interpretation, and group management skills relevant to teaching in flat water river environments.

Field Trip Week: 10 - 22
One 9.0 days field trip per study period on any day including weekend during the day from week 10 to week 22 and delivered via face-to-face.
