This subject will introduce you to the societal, professional and health issues associated with the different forms of family violence. In this subject you will explore the policy and programmatic context surrounding this problem, the current government's MARAM(Multi Agency Risk Assessment and Management) approach, you will be supported to identify and develop skills in best practice responses, and strategies for care of self and colleagues. The subject will identify the roles and responsibilities of the systems that assist health care providers in the diverse context of Australian society.
