In this subject you will learn the skills needed to produce a simple broadcast program. You will learn about the various stages involved in getting a program to broadcast/publication including managing location crews, the studio and other members of a team. You will also learn story skills, technical skills for operating location and studio based equipment, formatting and editing audio visuals; and uploading material online. This subject has the potential of working in conjunction with La Trobe University's Upstart Media Network, and the assignments will involve practical exercises that will be packaged for inclusion in a format. The format can be a live to air or pre produced and this will be discussed and agreed on in class.
