Subject outline
In this subject, you widen the scope of your studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences. You take studies beyond the classroom. You can either apply to undertake a group community project or an individual project that links to the work of a La Trobe researcher in the Humanities and Social Sciences. In all instances, the subject aims to enable you to apply your knowledge and skills either to benefit a community organisation, or to implement a community project. You will be expected to devote anything from 100 to 250 hours to your project. You will develop practical employability skills in a professional setting. You will also reflect on how those skills benefit a professional setting. Enrolment in this subject requires Subject Coordinator's approval. To express interest in this subject, please email ASSC.Internships@latrobe.edu.au.
