Subject outline
This subject introduces students to the practices, principles and accountabilities intrinsic to navigating the higher education online environment and managing their own digital footprint. Through interactive learning tasks and assessments, students will develop foundational competence in ethically sourcing and managing information as well as using technologies appropriately to communicate and collaborate for learning purposes at an introductory level. Assessments are formative and low stakes, based on the cumulative acquisition of knowledge and skills.
