Subject outline

In this subject students will build on knowledge gained in first and second year nutrition subjects, it discusses advanced topics in nutritional sciences focussing on the most recent nutrition research and current topics in the media as well as emerging nutrition related issues. Includes nutrition's impact on health, chronic disease prevention and management as well as a detailed focus on Nutrigenomics.

Prerequisites If the student is admitted in HBHNHK then no rule applies. All other students must have passed DTN2PNU and (DTN3NDS or HLT2IEP) and (HBS2PTA or HBS2PAT) or require subject coordinator approval.
