Subject outline
You will undertake a substantive research project, across CSE5MT1 and CSE5MT2, which takes the equivalent of eight or nine months of continuous work under the supervision of an academic member of staff. In this subject you will acquire capabilities to contribute to research and development work in the area of Internet of Things, enhancing your capability to critically and systematically integrate knowledge. In CSE5MT1 you will undertake a literature review leading to a research proposal and a plan for carrying out the proposal, including relevant implementation and experimental details. A list of prospective thesis topics is available from the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology.
