This subject is comprised of a study tour that will explore the interconnectedness of place, society and the environment. It will include the study of the impact humans have upon the natural environment, and procedures to establish an environmentally sustainable society. It also involves developing an understanding of how physical, economic, social and technological factors effect the environment. The subject includes pre tour preparation, a placement experience plus post trip assessments. Enrolment in this subject is by application and is subject to approval by the Subject Coordinator, which may be subject also to the availability of places
