WORK PLACEMENT PROGRAM

ASC3WPP

2020

Credit points: 15

This subject addresses La Trobe's Global Citizenship Essential. Global Citizenship is about learning to live in an interconnected world, including the social, environmental, political and economic challenges this brings.

Subject outline

This work placement program has been developed to allow students from the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Commerce the opportunity to extend their formal academic learning beyond the classroom. It aims to provide students across various course disciplines with an opportunity to synthesise their learning in a final year vocational subject. The subject allows students to bring their learning from university into a work environment and test out their knowledge in the workplace. It brings together the expertise of industry partners and La Trobe University staff for the benefit of the student's professional development.
