In this subject you will be provided with an understanding of the issues and complexities involved in planning and staging community events. You will examine the importance of a triple-bottom line approach and ethical awareness in the development of event objectives for such an event. The subject allows you to examine the planning process involved in creating and staging a community event and provides you with a detailed knowledge of the requirements of planning the event. You will develop an event bid proposal for a community organisation and will develop a range of logistical tools and documents to support the planning and staging of the proposed event.
