Subject outline

Students will develop a theoretical understanding of the physiological and biomechanical principles that underline sports performance, with particular emphasis on how sporting technique and performance enhancement relate to the function of the body. Practical classes will reinforce knowledge and assist students in developing practical skill in movement analysis and understanding energy system interaction. Students will learn to demonstrate skills in conducting and interpreting various measurements.
