This practicum subject is a continuation of PSY5PPA and involves practical placement(s) at external agencies. You will begin to see clients as probationary psychologists and will be supervised to interact with clients in different professional/healthcare settings. You will apply theoretical principles and practical skills learnt in real-world settings with regional/rural emphasis. Online seminars will support you and discuss cases seen and workshops will facilitate group case discussions in groups. A total of at least 80 hours with clients with 60 hours of supervision will be required.

Twelve 7.00 hours placement - off site per week on weekdays during the day from week 31 to week 43 and delivered via face-to-face.
At least 80 hours with clients, 60 hours supervision

One 1.00 hour seminar every two weeks on weekdays at night from week 31 to week 43 and delivered via online.
