In this subject, you will explore the context and practice of acute clinical management of clients requiring orthotic and/or prosthetic interventions. This subject is designed to develop your understanding of the role of the orthotist in the acute health care setting and the principles and clinical applications of orthotic devices for conditions including fracture management, pre and post-surgical management and other acute injuries and presentations.
