Subject outline

In this subject you will develop a comprehensive understanding of natural environmental considerations when planning for regional scale projects. You will undertake planning studio work which will illustrate planning as a process of broader policy framing with a special focus on the spatial manifestation of environmental features and how they relate to place/s. You will grapple with key environmental challenges and address them through statutory and strategic planning perspectives. Topics covered include natural resources, watersheds and catchments.
