In this subject, students will perform an independent study related to one of the key research strengths within the discipline of Physics and will be supervised by a member of staff. Students will explore contemporary research issues related to X-ray science, condensed matter physics or surface and materials science. The outcomes will be presented through a written report and oral presentation at the end of the teaching period.
