In this subject students will be provided with the skills necessary to systematically review scientific evidence to inform clinical decisions in orthoptic and ophthalmic practice. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of research through participation in the process of inquiry and will be involved in problem formulation, research design, data collection and synthesis and the critical appraisal of literature. Students will also consider the clinical relevance of outcomes and the ethics of research.
