In this subject you will be introduced and orientated to the orthoptic clinical setting. It is a beginning level placement subject that will include a one-week intensive clinical placement where you will be provided with practical tuition and supervised hands-on clinical experience to allow the theoretical knowledge and investigative and management procedures learnt in previous subjects to be applied. This subject will in part be experienced within the Orthoptics Clinical School Network and will equip you to progress to the fourth year Orthoptic Clinical Practice subjects.
