Subject outline
In this subject you will build on concepts presented in Binocular Vision. You will develop an understanding of the theoretical concepts of aetiology, investigation, diagnosis and management of concomitant strabismus and its sensory anomalies. You will integrate theoretical concepts with practical instrumentation and clinical techniques to apply optical, orthoptic, medical and surgical management for concomitant horizontal deviations, amblyopia, micro strabismus and disorders of the vergence and accommodative systems in an evidence-based medical context. This subject will equip you to proceed to Incomitant Strabismus and Orthoptic Clinical Practice subjects.
