02. Research and reflect on your own philosophy of your experience in the setting and the activity. Consider possibilities on how it may inform your own relationship to that environment.
03. Develop and demonstrate the outdoor travel skills through participation in the journey in a relatively remote and natural setting.
04. Develop safety knowledge and skills specific to the environment, such as navigation, understanding and working with climatic data, drinking water procurement, group management, health and hygiene, first aid in remote settings and communications.
