Subject outline

City Studio is an internationally developed model that takes students outside the classroom and into workplaces and the community. In this subject, students will work in interdisciplinary groups to problem solve and co-create solutions to a key sustainability question, challenge or opportunity facing the community. Under the teaching and mentoring of academic, practitioner and community experts, students will work together to refine the project and develop solutions by applying knowledge and skills in environmental studies, place-based research, dialogue, design and project management.
