In this subject, you will use your professional knowledge of children and families to plan and implement safe and effective care for families with young children in the community. You will undertake clinical practice in community-based maternal and child health and education settings. This subject enables you to assess the health and development of children and maternal wellbeing, using appropriate screening and assessment tools. You will build on past learning to develop advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills and develop personal learning goals. The subject is delivered via a flexible online mode comprising on-campus seminars and workshops, online learning modules via LMS and online virtual classrooms.
