2020

Credit points: 15

Subject outline

In this subject, you will acquire the skills and knowledge to initially develop a full length theatre performance text, series pilot or feature film script, by presenting a pitch, a critical treatment of concept, a folio of selected scenes, and a rehearsed reading. This subject explores scriptwriting as a craft-based, industrialised and creative practice, and combines critical readings of theoretical texts, plays and screenplays with the workshopping of your writing in a supportive, collaborative environment.
