Subject outline

Students will be introduced to single camera HD digital production and will be provided with the opportunity to explore the production forms examined in theoretical screen studies and media subjects. The major practical production involves working in small creative collaborative teams, where students will be assessed in the areas of direction, camera, editing or sound design and production management, to produce a completed five-minute short film.

There is a lot of production equipment involved in these screen production subjects. Ideally the tutorials will be scheduled in the same room or a one hour break between tutes allowing for equipment set up/pack down etc. THIS WOULD MEAN THAT NO OTHER CLASS COULD BE SCHEDULED DURING THE BREAK TH
