In this subject, you will build on your advanced knowledge and skills in your area of interest in mental health. The subject emphasises advanced and specialist practice in mental health. Although the focus for each student through this subject will vary slightly, all students will develop cognitive and technical skills that demonstrate a broad understanding of a body of knowledge of underlying principles and theoretical concepts in mental health practice, and an advanced understanding of mental health conditions and treatment planning in the context of recovery orientated practice. The subject is delivered via a flexible online mode comprising learning modules via LMS and supported by appropriate clinical practicum.
