Credit points: 15

Subject outline

This subject will develop and enhance your appreciation of how constant and/or evolutionary changes to the international business environment influences the operations and conduct of domestic and across border For-Profit and Not for Profit enterprises. You will examine key strategic and structural drivers and tools that support globalization and the establishment of multi-national enterprises. You will be exposed to the models, approaches and challenges of successful cross- cultural management, negotiations, communications, and knowledge transfer. Lastly, throughout the subject you will be required to develop and then incorporate sound ethical principles and practices, including CSR, to the responsibilities of operating and managing multi-national, across borders For Profit / Not for Profit enterprises. At all times an awareness of 'digital disruption' to effective and sustainable management practices will be incorporated into all modes of assessment and activities.
