Subject outline

This is the first in a sequence of two subjects that together constitute the thesis component in the Criminology Honours Program. The subject is available to students who are enrolled in the Criminology Honours program on either a full-time or part time basis. Working under the supervision of a staff member, students are required to design, research and produce a 12,000-15,000 word thesis on an approved topic. The thesis demonstrates students' capacity to make an original contribution to their chosen discipline. Students must also attend the Honours seminar series which is designed to support and further develop students' research skills. Students are required to present a report on their research during the seminar series.
