This subject introduces students to the regulatory framework of telecommunications law in Australia. Students will examine the concepts, policies and principles of telecommunications and broadcasting law. Topics may include the broadcasting licensing framework, the management of digital spectrums, advertising and consumer protection legislation and the regulation of national broadband policies.
