Subject to application, students may choose an area of law in consultation with the subject coordinator as a part of either the Master of Laws or the Juris Doctor. The thesis will take the place of two subjects within the relevant program. With approval, students may enrol in this subject at the beginning of either semester one, semester two or an approved designated summer period and must submit by the end of their enrolled semester/period. The minor thesis requires the design, conduct and reporting of a substantial research based project including a critical review of relevant literature.
