Foundations of Property Law introduces students to fundamental concepts of property law in Australia. This subject involves consideration of the notion of property and of proprietary interests and focuses on real and personal property. Topics include: the concept of property; acquisition and regulation of title to property including possession, title and ownership; the importance of relativity of title; creation and disposition of property interests; introduction to statutory schemes of registration of property interests.
