Subject outline

The aim of this subject is to provide a systematic framework within which to explore the complexities of managing people in a global business context. There will be four levels of examination of the subject; these are environmental, organizational, strategic and operational. Students will be exposed to both international and domestic human resource management dimensions and will focus on issues facing a range of organizations that operate in the international environment. On completion of this subject students should have a general understanding of the role of strategic international human resource management in the success of multinational enterprises.
