Under supervision, students formulate a question and then research and write an extended research essay (thesis) of 12,000 to 15,000 words or equivalent, fore example creative practice with exegesis. The thesis demonstrates students' capacity to make an original contribution to their chosen discipline. The topic must be approved by the disciplinary honours coordinator.
