In this work-readiness subject addressing the La Trobe Innovation and Entrepreneurship Essential , you begin the internship process. You are expected to nominate the work or community sector in which you would like to work or to intern. You are not expected to have arranged an actual internship. T he subject assists you to scope properly a potential future internship. Guided by the subject coordinator, you define a project for an internship. You first inform yourself thoroughly about the industry or community sector in which the project might be located. You then develop a project plan, finessing it two drafts. You even complete a mock application and interview for the role you have planned. The subject enables you to start to configure your academic skills and learning into a possible start-up, career or vocation. Prerequisites: Enrolment in this subject requires subject coordinator's approval HuSS students must have completed HUS1FAS and HUS2NGP, or their recognised equivalents, plus at least 90 other credit points in any level of their degree Students from other degrees are eligible to apply, and will be expected to have completed their second-year degree cores, or their equivalents, plus at least 90 other credit points in any level of their degree
