Subject outline

This subject focuses on a range of materials related to Indian Cinema, both in terms of films, dialogues, songs, magazines and reviews. Teaching will be in a 3 hour workshop format and we will be looking at a number of links to Hindi film related clips on YouTube such as short documentaries, interviews, clips, trailers, and award ceremonies. In addition there will be a weekly passage to read from a Hindi film magazine. There will also be opportunities to watch films and discuss their content.
