HMK3BRG

2020

Credit points: 15

Subject outline

In the capstone subject 'Bridging Research Gaps' current Hallmark students will explore various topics relating to Australia's future and society's engagement with pressing issues, for example climate change, gender equality and sustainable system management. The students will be involved with organising a range of master classes on a topic of their choice. The students are also completing an internship as a central component of the curriculum. 'Bridging Research Gaps' aims to prepare students for the transition from undergraduate study to post-graduate research and the workforce and advance their understanding of the links between academia and broader societal and community discourses. Students will be learning transferable leadership, research and analytical skills that help them contextualise their study in a wider context while building a career profile beyond the university.
