This subject will extend students' knowledge of the interpersonal and communication concepts and skills required in academic and health science contexts. Students will develop their speaking and listening skills in a range of situations and with a range of audiences. Oral presentation and academic writing skills will be further developed in workshops around awareness of self and others, conflict, social and cultural differences. Students will explore professional communication skills required in interactions with clients in a range of health services settings, and further develop their skills in online environments and use of e-learning tools.
