This subject addresses the fundamentals of epidemiology within hearing and balance pathology. A particular emphasis on hearing difficulties within the indigenous community will be provided. The purpose of this subject is to help students interpret the mass of epidemiological literature within the audiology field and various types of data that they might come across as future audiologists. The information will be essential for students who plan on engaging in future hearing and balance assessment and management.
