Subject outline

In this subject, participants scope and design a research project in curriculum, teaching and learning for a specific higher education context. In their research project, participants apply concepts and principles of higher education curriculum, teaching and learning to their own practice, and design research involving established and emerging methods from educational research literature. Participants are guided in the selection of methods for gathering data, analysis and interpretation of data, and complete a research project that addresses ethical issues according to faculty or university guidelines. Participants critique and peer review their draft progress reports, and develop a final research project report with the guidance of their supervisor.
