This subject focuses on the theory of nutrition and dietetic management of common diseases and conditions, including gastrointestinal and liver diseases, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, cancer, respiratory diseases, critical illness, surgical nutrition. In this subject, you will extend learning from DTN4DPA to consolidate and progress their skills in individual dietetic case management, one of the key domains of competency required by the national accrediting body. You will integrate best available evidence into dietetic practice through the development of a medical nutrition therapy portfolio .
