This subject focuses on the craft of writing for performance (predominantly live, but broadly conceived: play scripts, performance poetry, monologues; speeches). Classes will attend to aspects of the writing process such as: construction; time; location; character; and dialogue. Assessment will be via analytical exercises and creative scripts of varying lengths.
