Subject outline

In this subject students are provided with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge learnt in other subjects of the course and to gain practical knowledge in the Information Technology professions. The student will undertake a 13 week full-time work program with an external organisation, which has been approved as an industry employer by the Subject and Course co-ordinators. The work to be undertaken by the student must be in a recognised Information Technology area and provide an appropriate learning environment. The employer will nominate a workplace supervisor who will oversee the student's work program and liaise with the Subject co-ordinator.
