Subject outline

CRA2VER Versions, through a trans-disciplinary approach to the Creative Arts advances students understanding of creative practice as a form of research. By developing their research skills, students build an understanding of Creative Arts disciplines and practice, investigating creative arts and industries, within Australia and globally. Through individual and group projects, critical analysis of texts and case studies, the subject asks, how can a creative artist advance their practice through trans-disciplinary understandings and across creative mediums and platforms? The subject addresses La Trobe's Global Citizenship Essential by understanding how Creative Arts contributes to an interconnected world, by acting within diverse communities and across cultures and boundaries.
