Subject outline
This is a creative arts practice subject in which students, working in pairs and individually, research, design and execute a project based on definitions of creativity, communication, constraint and sustainability. Drawing on and establishing their trans-disciplinary and disciplinary practice students engage in a creative practice within a 'community' in its broadest terms and present their work within the campus in a simulated virtual gallery exhibition. The subject addresses La Trobe's Sustainability Essential. Sustainability Thinking entails deep appreciation of how the choices we make affects the natural, economic, social, political, artistic and cultural systems - now and in the future.
