This subject is designed to allow high level students to further extend their professional Chinese abilities and orient them in China related studies. Topics comprise digital economy and social class changes, Chinese contemporary literature, social development and division, changes of global views, and modern civil war history. It particularly focuses on the training of skills in social sciences research using Chinese primary sources, as well as translation in primary data from Chinese into English and from English into Chinese. The subject features online and multimedia based collaborative teaching and learning experiences.
