This subject is designed to allow high level students to further extend their professional Chinese abilities and orient them in China related studies. Topics comprise environment protection, Chinese language, ethnic minorities and cultural diversity, Chinese culture and Chinese overseas, as well as Chinese civilisation and science and technology. It particularly focuses on the training of skills in social sciences research Chinese primary sources, as well as translation in primary data from Chinese into English and from English into Chinese. The subject features online and multimedia based collaborative teaching and learning experiences.
