In this subject you will build upon operational and management material covered in the course of your Masters program. In particular the subject provides an opportunity to focus on the application of theoretical concepts to address workplace problems or development issues using problem-based enquiry and learning. You will identify your own work placement and will negotiate a work based project with your host employer and subject instance coordinator prior to commencement. The themes of projects, enquiries and/or other work-based activities are individually tailored to your professional development needs and employer requirements.

Special conditions: By application only. Subject coordinators approval required for enrolment. Minimum WAM of 70% required. Eligible students are sent an email invitation to apply at the commencement of semester 1 and 2. Applications are made by completing the required forms made available via an LMS application site for this subject by week 8 in the semester preceding participation in the subject. Students are required to source their own placement and can obtain guidance from the subject application LMS site and from La Trobe Careers Service.
